Bring out the candles, bring out the cake! Let’s celebrate! Homemade Parties is one month old today! It was an amazing first month and I am happy ecstatic with the support you guys have shown to this little project of mine. I’ve always been passionate about parties and party planning and I’m glad I now have an outlet to share that party spirit with you!
We’ve seen a lot of awesome homemade parties in the past month and I thought it was just fitting to round-up the Top 5 favourites based on your likes in our Instagram and Facebook feeds. Pretty things are meant to be shared after all so here they are!
1. @maidagenato’s table spread for her daughter’s 9th birthday: This one will always be close to my heart since it was one of the first parties we featured in HMP.
2. @pyrexpiesandpaisley’s sweet and dainty dessert spread: Green and pink for a baby shower, how can you go wrong? You have to see her IG feed. It’s filled with homemade parties, you’d think she’s a professional party planner!

Yes yes, I know I said we’re rounding up the top 5, but how can you not give special mention to @nicacosio who handmade these party hats for her daughter’s birthday? She even made paper buntings to match! Props to you mommy!
